Dry Type Transformer

Structure type:
The iron core is mainly composed of silicon steel sheets and coils cast with epoxy resin. Insulation cylinders are placed between high and low voltage coils to increase electrical insulation, and the coils are supported and constrained by cushion blocks. The fasteners used for component overlap have anti loosening properties.
Construction performance:
⑴ Solid insulation encapsulated winding.
⑵ Non encapsulated winding
Winding: Among the two windings, the one with higher voltage is the high-voltage winding, and the one with lower voltage is the low-voltage winding. From the relative position of the high and low voltage windings, high voltage can be divided into concentric and overlapping types. Concentric windings are simple and easy to manufacture, and all adopt this structural method. Overlapping type, mainly used for special transformers.

Structural features:
Due to its strong short-circuit resistance, low maintenance workload, high operating efficiency, small size, and low noise, dry-type transformers are commonly used in places with high performance requirements such as fire and explosion prevention.
1. Safe, fireproof, pollution-free, and can operate directly in the load center;
2. Adopting advanced domestic technology, high mechanical strength, strong short-circuit resistance, small partial discharge, good thermal stability, high reliability, and long service life;
3. Low loss, low noise, significant energy-saving effect, maintenance free;
4. Good heat dissipation performance, strong overload capacity, and can increase capacity operation when forced air cooling;
5. Good moisture resistance, suitable for operation in high humidity and other harsh environments;
6. Dry type transformers can be equipped with comprehensive temperature detection and protection systems. Adopting an intelligent signal temperature control system, it can automatically detect and display the working temperature of each three-phase winding, automatically start and stop the fan, and have functions such as alarm and trip settings;
7. Small size, light weight, small footprint, and low installation cost.

Form:
1. Open type: It is a commonly used form, with its body in direct contact with the atmosphere, suitable for relatively dry and clean indoor environments (when the ambient temperature is 20 degrees, the relative humidity should not exceed 85%), and generally has two cooling methods: air self cooling and air cooling.
2. Closed type: The device is located inside a closed shell and does not come into direct contact with the atmosphere (due to poor sealing and heat dissipation conditions, it is mainly used for mining and belongs to the explosion-proof type).
3.Casting type: using epoxy resin or other resins as the main insulation, it has a simple structure, small volume, and is suitable for transformers with smaller capacities.

Work environment:
1.0-40 (℃), relative humidity<70%;
2. Altitude: not exceeding 2500 meters;
3. Avoid exposure to rain, moisture, high temperature, high heat, or direct sunlight. The distance between its heat dissipation ventilation holes and surrounding objects should not be less than 40cm;
4. Prevent working in places with corrosive liquids, gases, dust, conductive fibers, or metal shavings;
5. Prevent working in places with vibration or electromagnetic interference;
6. Avoid long-term inverted storage and transportation, and avoid strong impact.
